 We have divided our teaching goals into six categories. The goal of all our education is to integrate nurses, physicians and therapists into didactic, case-based and bed-side experiential learning sessions.
Based on feedback from Nepali healthcare providers, our teams will be focused on the following projects over the next two years:

III. Swallowing following neurological injury
- Treatment, management of dysphagia
- Prevention of aspiration pneumonia
IV: Interprofessional Practice
- Understanding the role of the interprofessional team
- Translating theory into practice
- Community reingration following neurological injury
V Pressur Ulcer Prevention and Management
- Positioning to prevent skin breakdown
- Wound care in Nepali context
VI. Child Development
- Equipment and resource needs to set up an outpatient child development centre
Outpatient Stroke Cenre - Kathmandu
- Outpatient treatment of the stroke client
- Linking with Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada for information, mentorship and resources for translation
